Green technology for the future
The aim of the project is to develop a revolutionary, zero-emission technology for the production of ferrosilicon alloys, replacing fossil fuels with climate-neutral bioreducers. It is our response to the global challenges of the energy transition and the tightening climate policies of the European Union.
What will we achieve?
- Replace coal and coke with emission-free bioreducers
- Eliminate fossil fuels entirely from the production process
- Use energy from our own 15 MW photovoltaic installation, generating approx. 16,700 MWh of green energy annually
- Launch production in state-of-the-art resistance-arc furnaces to boost efficiency and output
